Rev. Tyshawn Gardner is the Senior Pastor of Plum Grove Baptist Church and the Founder and CEO of Citizens Impacting Community Association in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Citizens Impacting Community Assocation (C.I.C.A.) is a faith based non-profit Federal Tax Exempt 501c3 organization impacting and enriching the lives of the citizens in Tuscaloosa County since 2008. Rev. Gardner is a native of Liberty, Alabama in Pickens County and an active community leader in the City of Tuscaloosa, a dynamic preacher and in demand throughout the Southeastern United States.Gardner_0029r

Being a native of the area and having served with numerous boards and community based organizations in Tuscaloosa has given him the hands on awareness and experience to effectively carrying out C.I.C.A’s vision, mission and values in Tuscaloosa. He is a graduate of Pickens County High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Rev. Gardner is a distinguished veteran of the U.S. Navy having served in both Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He is currently in the Master’s of Divinity Degree program at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
